Defined by High School Road at the edge of the Town of Jackson to the south end of Teton County near Hoback Junction, the South Valley is quietly getting more popular. The famed 3 Creek Ranch, Ely Springs, Indian Springs and the Dairy Ranches are located on the north and west sides of the Middle Valley.
A majority of the balance in this region is comprised of few subdivisions, but more county-defined properties that afford some commercial zoning and horse properties. Local residential communities like Rafter J Ranch, Melody Ranch and South Park Ranch offers the majority of the housing for the local workforce is this part of the valley. Larger tracts and/or live water can be found in Shootin Iron Ranches, Polo Ranches and Little Horsethief. Some of the most spectacular views from this region are of the prominent northern toe of Munger Mountain.
